CRUDE: The Real Price of Oil

I have only seen the trailer for this documentary and am so moved by its portrayal of how oil companies have engaged in genocide, killing thousands of innocent Indigenous People in the Amazon Rainforest along with the rivers, trees, and animals that call the Rainforest home.

Do we realize the price we are paying to continue our Dream of "development" and "progress"?  Do we know that to continue "developing" our world with more buildings, roads, cars, and the limitless use of resources we are promoting the extinction of thousands of cultures, spiritual wisdom, healing wisdom, languages, plants, and animals along with polluting our drinking water.  We must REMEMBER that our future is not one of our own, but is linked with the future of the natural world and people living all around the world.  Their extinction is our own.  To destroy their land and people is to destroy our own homes and family.
